September article by Tiffany Yates

In 1974, the comedy-show duo of Ferguson & Taylor was born in Buffalo, NY and experienced 17 years of success in the music business from stage to recording studio, radio & TV.

The Show Band played throughout the country from the Lake Placid Winter Olympics to the Buena Vista Palace in Disney World and 16 consecutive seasons in resorts in Alexandria Bay, NY. From Playboy Clubs to Las Vegas Casinos, Sheratons, Marriott's, Hiltons, Double Trees, Ramadas, Hyatt's, Best Western Hotels, and Holiday Inns across the US and Canada to concerts, trade shows and conventions, Ferguson & Taylor were often booked 18 months in advanced.

Paul Ferguson left the group in late summer of 1990 to further his skills in the recording studio as arranger, conductor and producer. During this time he ventured into the country music scene, making several trips to Nashville and working on Various studio and stage productions with the Grand Ole Opry member, Del Reeves.

Coinciding with these endeavors, Paul developed a single act, where he successfully entertains people of all ages with a wide variety of musical tastes, With strong emphasis on Oldies Rock & Country and with consideration of Top 40, Standards, Swing, Ballads, Reggae, Big Band, Bluegrass, Soul, Jazz & Blues, this one man band is in the prime of his career. Sometimes traveling with the act are long time character favorites, "Mr. P", "Louis", and "K.T. Frog".

From the fall of 1996 to 2001, The very popular Ferguson and Taylor reunited and have played together exclusively. Both Andy Taylor and Paul Ferguson  continue to perform as single acts and are "in touch" all the time with visions of getting together again soon.  It WILL happen!

This impressive one man show has the look and sound of a full band by utilizing state of the art musical equipment. Guitar and Keyboard parts are played live by Paul accompanied by Laptop Computers and Digital Processing equipment.  Sit-in musicians are always welcome...no lyrics provided... this ain't  Kareoke. (NO tapes are used in the performance.)

This entertainer considers himself a dedicated musician committed to the highest standard of professional conduct and expectations. Paul Ferguson gives 100% every night. His audiences look forward to his return to their home towns.
